Lindström is the Family Business of the Year 2021 in Finland

The textile service company Lindström Oy has been chosen as the recipient of the Family Business of the Year 2021 award in Finland. The Finnish Family Firms Association presented the award at its autumn seminar in Helsinki on Thursday, November 4.

In choosing the award winner this year, special emphasis was placed on responsible and long-term ownership. Specific value was also given to the good practices of the Lindström owner family, where the family, as the owner, has added value to its stakeholders.

“Lindström is a great example of the innovation, willingness to invest and internationalization of a Finnish service company. Recognizing this work is a real joy and honor for the Family Business Association”, says Alexander Bargum, Chairman of the Family Business of the Year award Jury.

With the Family Business of the Year award, the Finnish Family Firms Association wants to highlight the importance of the family as a factor in the success of a business. About 70 percent of the employing companies in Finland are family businesses.
