Ismo Nastamo to retire, Kati Järvi appointed as his successor

Ismo Nastamo, Senior Vice President, Strategic initiatives, will retire from Lindström at the year’s end.

“Ismo’s contribution to Lindström during the last 27 years has been invaluable, he’s been an integral part in driving the company forward, helping it grow throughout the years from a national laundry operator to a leading player in the field in Europe and in Asia. I doubt that there is little that he hasn’t done in the company, with his vast experience varying from leading the laundries to the whole supply chain to marketing and selling our services to customers – he’s even been the head of IT at some point, and always been driving the management forward, latest with the Strategy 2025 topics. His contribution to Lindström has been invaluable, so I’m wishing him all the best on his well-deserved retirement,” comments Juha Laurio, President and CEO.

Kati Järvi, currently working as Director, Business Development, has been appointed as the new Senior Vice President, Strategy, and a member of the Lindström Group Management Team as of 1st January 2022. In this role she will report to Juha Laurio, President and CEO of Lindström Oy.

“We’re extremely happy and excited that Kati is succeeding Ismo in this key role in building Lindström’s future success and roadmap. We are privileged to get to continue this work with someone, who has been involved in the Strategy 2025 journey from the very beginning. Kati has much to offer both to Lindström and its employees as well as to our customers; she has profound understanding and experience of strategy, strategical thinking and how to make strategies come alive, and passion to further develop our culture and leadership” rejoices Juha Laurio.

Kati Järvi has several years of experience from strategy and business consulting having worked on supporting various leading Nordic companies on strategy, business development and culture and leadership development as well as having researched the topics. Kati Järvi holds a PhD in Innovation & Technology Management from LUT university (Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology, LUT). Kati Järvi has been working for Lindström since August 2020.
