For past four years we have been celebrating International Women’s Day with ladies in our company as well as with Customer’s female staff who are wearing our workwear while doing their respective jobs at our customer’s shop floors, offices etc..
Lindstrom is an equal opportunity organisation. However Currently our female-male ratio is 63:37. We have observed that women’s are playing important roles and contributing largely in organisational development. In our organisation we have women’s in all spherers of the work right from textile care worker to Sr. Vice Presidents.
Women’s in an organisation brings lots of benefits. Women relate better at workplace particularly in the leadership roles. Consequently, they build stronger relationships with other organizations, partners, and shareholders at large. This kind of relationship helps any organization to grow as every business requires other partners to succeed. I am of the opinion that Women communicate in a better way than men.
Men and women will inevitably have different experiences and backgrounds, which shape their approach to business. Challenging each other and collaborating with people who think differently can breed creativity and promote the innovative ideas that push organizations forward.
We take pride in serving our customer with “We Care” attitude. Currently we are serving 1500 customers in India. Industry such as Pharma, Food, Automotive, Electronics, Quick Service Restaurant as well as Retail are using our workwear. There are over 3000 ladies at various customers wearing our garments in their day to day operations.
Workwear is a visible part of Corporate image. Unified and recognizable corporate clothing improves the recognizability of employees and increases the professional pride of personnel. Safe and functional workwear protects the employee against the hazards of work. A recent study by economists at the University of Warwick found that happiness led to a 12% spike in productivity, while unhappy workers proved 10% less productive.
Hence we took this opportunity to acknowledge their presence in our life and celebrated events with lots of activities by giving them beautiful greetings, bouquets and cutting cakes. It’s a expression of love, respect and togetherness.
